Antique Qing Dynasty Chinese hand carved wooden foo dogs or temple guards. Set of two. These architectural pieces were ornaments on poles, spirit houses or other items in temples or homes. They have a faded gold gilt and red wood finish. Measures 2.5" wide x 5” tall x 3” long. In overall good condition. Some chipping, surface scratches, and fading. One of the dogs has a loose ball in his mouth.
